I had the privilege of shooting Ben's first birthday pics. He was so cute and it was nice to have a subject that didn't run away from me, although he did crawl away very quickly toward the end. :) He was such a good little model though. Here are a few preview pics for Mom and Dad. I'll have the rest ready in a couple of days. Enjoy!
We had a great Easter today. We went to church with the in-laws and enjoyed a fellowship meal with their church. William's grandfather came too so it was good to see him. I got a couple of shots of everyone all dressed up before we headed out this morning. I even got R to take a photo of hubby and myself. We haven't had a photo of us lately.
With all the sickness I was a little later with my Christmas cards this year also. I like to have the pictures done by Thanksgiving and the cards shortly there after. Things just didn't work out that way this year. They still got out a week or so before Christmas so hopefully they all arrived on time. I decided to do more than just one picture this year and did a 5x7 folded card. I love how it turned out! I used a digital kit by Kristin Cronin Barrow and designed it myself. Here's our card for this year. The one of both kids is the front; the red is the inside spread, and the kissing shot is the back.
We were a little later this year but we finally got all the decorations up and going. I had a bad sinus infection at the beginning of Dec. and then Rylie got the stomach virus last weekend so I was lagging in getting some pictures done. I want to take another one of the tree but I'll try that tonight so there's not light coming in from around the window. Here are a couple of the kiddos from yesterday morning.
I wasn't able to get a good shot of my daughter by herself last night on Halloween, so I did a quick reshoot with her this afternoon. Here's my pretty princess.
Yesterday was the big trick-or-treat day. The little one kept his costume on better than I had imagined. We did get rid of the frog feet before actually going out and he didn't like putting the hood on, but once it was on he didn't mind. He was definitely more interested in eating crackers than taking photos though. Gotta love 17 month olds!
